Alert: Will and Kate Revealed Their Christmas Card Will Warr

Listen, I know it's been a tough time for Prince and Princess of Wales. Between Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis, King Charles' cancer diagnosis, and the never-ending royal family drama, it's understandably been a "brutal"year, as Prince William confessed during an interview back in November. That said, you may have noticed something a little surprising about Will and Kate's annual Christmas card: Unlike past years, this year's card includes a previously-seen family photo rather than a new one.

On December 19, the couple shared their 2024 holiday card, which features an image that may look familiar to fans, since it's a still from the video in which Kate announced the end of her chemotherapy treatment. The video (which was issued on September 9) was filmed by Will Warr in Norfolk, where the family has a country home. To refresh your memory:

Kate and Will kept the message in their holiday card brief, simply writing, "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year." And while it may not be a new one, the family photo featuring their three children—George, Charlotte, and Lewis—is still a very cute one.

Side note: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also made an unconventional choice with their Christmas card photo this year, releasing a rare photo of their children, Archie and Lilibet, that doesn't actually show their faces.

The decision likely had to do the Sussex family's ongoing concerns with privacy—which, again, is understandable. "On behalf of the office of Prince Harry & Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful new year," the card reads.
