The sheer array of celebrities in Paris at the moment is slightly overwhelming. Never before has there been such a high volume of famous faces per square foot, unless, of course, you count the golden-gated community of Calabasas or Italy in July.
So, it makes perfect sense that Kaia Gerber, the talented offspring of supermodel Cindy Crawford and actor Rande Gerber, would pop up in the French capital for what seems like part work, part play.
A celebrity-favourite brand, The Row was founded by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in 2006. Over the past 17 years, it's firmly established itself as a go-to for famous faces and their stylists. Minimal and understated, the brand oozes quiet luxury and is a staple in the wardrobes of models like Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and, obvi, Kaia.
While the rest of us have to trawl Instagram and Pinterest for our Nineties inspo, Kaia only has to call her infinitely stylish mum. On this occasion, it seems like she did.
The suit, which Kaia paired with a black shirt, black patent pumps and dark glasses, feels reminiscent of Cindy's incredible outfits back in the day. Take, for instance, the pared-back, elegant navy suit Cindy wore to the premiere of Batman Forever in 1995. The white shirt, delicate jewellery and trademark wavy hair make it the epitome of laid-back luxe.
Or, the stunning red power suit and black tights combination debuted in 1992 while visiting London. Again, the picture of nineties glamour, complete with a gravity-defying blowdry and grey smokey eye.
Clearly, innate style runs in the family. Whether Kaia ever raids her mum's wardrobe is another question entirely. If it was us, though, we'd be in there in a heartbeat.
