Popular K-Pop star Yohan has died suddenly at the age of 28.

The singer, whose real name is Kim Jeong-hwan, died on June 16 with the cause of death currently unknown.

KJ Entertainment, TST’s record label, confirmed the news to local media following the tragedy.

“We are sad to relay the most unfortunate, sorrowful news. On June 16, TST member Yohan left this world. The late Yohan’s family is currently in deep mourning,” the statement said.

Fans from all over the world are paying tribute to Yohan on social media, with many describing him as “talented”.

“I love you a lot Yohan... I miss you,” South Korean singer Kiseop wrote on Instagram.

“From the time I saw you in 2017, I knew I loved you and the boys. I never found such a small group with such big energy and never thought I could ever fall so fast,” a fan wrote.

“It’s going to be so weird without you and I just wish this wasn’t true but it’s going to be OK.”

The death comes after K-Pop pop star and actress Sulli was found dead aged 25 in October last year, shortly after leaving a note that hinted she had been suffering from depression.
