'It's just not knowing': Parents' emotional plea to find missing teenager

The parents of a Perth teenager who went missing after school last week are pleading for her to come home.

Halle Williams, from Safety Bay in Perth’s southern suburbs, hasn’t been seen since last Wednesday afternoon.

“It’s just not knowing. We just want her safe,” Halle’s distraught mother Maxine Williams said.

“I’ve walked the streets. I’ve drove around all the areas every day. I’ve missed work.”

Halle’s parents didn’t know anything was wrong until they came to pick the year nine student up from Safety Bay High School that afternoon only to be told she wasn’t there.

It turns out the 14 year old had skipped her last class.

It’s believed the teenager might have been at Waikiki Village Shopping Centre on Sunday, police said.

Her parents are convinced she is now somewhere in Coolongup with a boy she hasn’t known for long.

“I do believe someone is hiding her and I do believe that she is under the influence of someone else,” Ms Williams said.

Desperate for clues and concerned about their daughter’s safety, her parents have turned to social media, scouring Halle’s Facebook page in the hope it will lead them to her.

“Just come home,” Ms Williams said.

“It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. We can fix it. Just come home and be safe.”

Anyone who sees Halle or has any information on her whereabouts is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
