Behar, along with her fellow co-hosts on The View, was not amused by Trump's speech, especially the part where he outlined his plans to return "millions of criminal aliens back to the place where they came from."

"If he's sending all the criminals away, where is he going?" Behar, 82, asked during the Tuesday, Jan. 21 episode of the ABC talk show, referring to Trump's own history of legal woes, including his conviction of 34 felony counts last year.

Behar added, "And what better way to unify the country than by ripping families apart and punishing anyone who doesn't fall in line."

After taking office on Monday, Trump signed multiple executive orders related to immigration policies, including orders to end asylum, suspend refugee resettlement and even end birthright citizenship, which is enshrined in the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Behar's co-host, Sunny Hostin, said she didn't watch Trump's inauguration on Monday, and instead "decided to protect my peace and celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day."

As for co-host Sara Haines, she said she "just kind of felt this dark feeling," while watching the inauguration, while Alyssa Farah Griffin said she was "shocked by the imagery" of the support for Trump received on Monday.
