John Travolta's devastating tribute to Olivia Newton-John: 'I love you'
The entertainment industry has been left heartbroken following the death of Aussie icon Olivia Newton-John.
The actress, singer and songwriter passed away peacefully at her ranch in California, following a decades-long battle with breast cancer, her husband John Easterling confirmed.
Her Grease co-star and good friend John Travolta led the celebrity tributes on Instagram, writing, "My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible.

While Olivia's daughter Chloe Lattanzi didn't share a message, she shared a series of photos of herself and her mother to her Instagram account, with her friends and followers sharing their support.
Hugh Jackman shared his heartbreak, remembering his friend, with an Instagram post.
"I’m devastated to hear the news that @therealonj has passed away," he wrote. "One of the great privileges of my life was getting to know her. Not only was she one of the most talented people I’ve known … she was one of the most open hearted, generous and funny.
"She was a one of kind spirit. It’s no secret Olivia was my first crush. I kissed her (poster) every night before bed. Her legacy will only grow stronger in the years to come. A fighter for healing from cancer that knows no bounds. I love you Olivia."
Delta Goodrem also shared her devastation, writing, "The whole world will feel this heartbreak today because the entire world felt Olivia’s unmatched light. A force for good. A force of nature. Strong and kind. my mentor, my friend, my inspiration, someone who always guided me… she was always there for me. Family to me.
"I don’t have all the words I would like to say today but I hope everyone will join in celebrating our beloved Olivia, her heart, soul, talent, courage, grace…I love you forever."
Barbra Streisand also took to Instagram, writing, "Too young to leave this world. May she RIP. 😢🙏🏻."
Rebel Wilson took to her Instagram Stories, writing, "You were a true icon and I absolutely adored you."
Bindi Irwin shared a photo of herself walking hand-in-hand with Olivia, writing, "One of the kindest and most wonderful souls the world has ever known."
David Campbell was heartbroken by the news, writing, "Oh no. This is devastating news."
Magda Szubanski tweeted, "Vale Olivia Newton-John What a sad sad day. Thank you for all you gave us Your beautiful soul will be so missed."
Former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd also shared a tribute, writing, "This is really sad news. Really sad. A great Australian woman. And a great advocate for global cancer research. Taken from her family far too early. Vale Olivia."
Singer Richard Marx took to Twitter to honour his friend, writing, "My heart is broken. Rest now, sweet friend. You were as kind and loving a person as there’s ever been. I’ll miss you every day. 💔."
George Takei shared his heartbreak on Twitter, adding, "We have lost a great, iconic artist in Olivia Newton John, gone too soon from us at age 73. I trust she is now in the great Xanadu beyond. Know that we are forever hopelessly devoted to you, Olivia. Rest in song and mirth."
Edgar Wright added, "Olivia Newton John so completely dominated the charts and Top Of The Pops when I was a kid, it felt like she WAS pop music. And yes, Xanadu is still a stone cold classic song. RIP x."
