Jetstar drops massive ‘Return for FREE’ flight sale

Jetstar has 45,000 free-return fares up for grabs. But you’ll need to get in quick.

Jetstar has announced a huge ‘Return for FREE’ sale to celebrate its 19th birthday, with deals starting from just $77.

The Aussie airline said it wanted travellers to ‘feel 19 again’. It is offering 45,000 fares with free return travel. The sale includes domestic and international routes and covers travel periods from early February to mid-March 2024.

Sale highlights include Sydney to Melbourne from $77, Melbourne to Hobart from $111 and Perth to Adelaide from $219.

For Aussies wanting to travel further abroad, there are free-return seats from Brisbane to Auckland from $259, Perth to Bali (Denpasar) from $269 and Melbourne to Honolulu from $429.

Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully said the Return for FREE Birthday sale was one of its most popular sales of the year.

“Jetstar’s Return for FREE birthday sale is one of our biggest sales of the year and has always been incredibly popular with customers,” Tully said.

“We have amazing value sale fares across 59 domestic and 28 international routes, allowing customers to fly return from as little as $77.”

Jetstar’s birthday sale starts at 12:00am AEST on Wednesday, May 3 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on Thursday, May 4, unless sold out prior.

Jetstar club members have been given exclusive early access, 12 hours prior, and can purchase sale tickets from midday today.
