Jennifer Aniston has announced she will auction a nude photograph to a lucky buyer in a bid to raise funds for the coronavirus pandemic currently wreaking havoc in the US.

The star announced the news sharing the iconic snap alongside a video of the negatives being developed.

The photo snapped in November 1995 was taken in the midst of the actresses meteoric rise to fame on the back of Friends debuting the year before.

Taken by Mark Seliger the photograph shows Jennifer with her iconic 90’s haircut, limbs crossed and shown in black and white.

“My dear friend @markseliger teamed up with @radvocacy and @christiesinc to auction 25 of his portraits – including mine – for COVID-19 relief,” the actress wrote.

“100% of sales proceeds of this portrait will go to @NAFClinics, an organization which provides free coronavirus testing and care nationwide to the medically underserved.”

“Thank you again to Mark for allowing me to be part of this.”

The post attracted plenty of attention with over one million liking the post.

If the praise that came sweeping in is anything to go by, it seems the photo is set to raise some serious cash for the needy.

“So great, thank you,” Jennifer Garner wrote.

“Beautiful photo!” agreed Rita Wilson. “Beautiful babe.”

“Omg your so beautiful,” shared a fan.

Jennifer has since posted in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, using her mammoth platform of over 33.8 million followers to raise awareness for issues sweeping through America.
