What is Jake Paul's professional boxing record?

Jake Paul has turned the eyes of the boxing world towards him as he fights Mike Tyson tonight.

The pair will fight over eight two-minute rounds in what has been sanctioned as a professional bout, though they will be wearing slightly heavier 14-ounce gloves.

It is the first time Tyson has fought as a professional in 19 years, since he retired on his stool against Kevin McBride in 2005, and it remains to be seen how much the 58-year-old still has to offer.

Paul, meanwhile, has repeatedly insisted he is capable of becoming a world champion, even if much of his career so far has been spent fighting names from outside of the sport.

What is Jake Paul’s boxing record?

While Mike Tyson has 58 professional fights to his name, this will be only the 12th time Jake Paul has stepped into the ring.

He has a 10-1 record, with seven of those wins coming inside the distance.

Paul made his debut against fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib in 2020, before knocking out former basketball player Nate Robinson later that year.

In 2021 the focus was on MMA stars, as Paul beat Ben Askren inside a round and then stopped Tyron Woodley in December, having narrowly edged a points decision against him four months earlier.

Paul beat Anderson Silva on points before then suffering his only defeat. That came in February 2023 in what was the biggest fight of his career to date, with Tommy Fury the first professional boxer he had faced. Paul lost that bout in Saudi Arabia by split decision.

Since then, Paul proved too good for Nate Diaz over ten rounds last summer, before beating little-known boxers Andre August and Ryan Bourland in low-key fights.

Paul’s most recent bout was in July this year, when he stopped MMA and bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry in the sixth round.
