Instagram influencer, 22, who died in fiery crash 'had big dreams'

A 22-year-old influencer who died in a fiery car accident has been described as having a "clean heart and so much love to give."

Paige Rice — who had over 19,000 followers on her Instagram account — died on October 17 when her boyfriend’s car collided with a taxi in North West England in the Queensway tunnel, Liverpool.

Ms Rice's boyfriend and the taxi driver, who is in his 40s, are currently in hospital in serious condition.

'Heart of gold'

Ms Rice's mum, Claire, posted a statement to Instagram following the devastating accident, saying she's "broken."

"I'm overwhelmed by the love being shown. She really was the most beautiful girl, with the biggest smile, a contagious laugh and heart of gold," she wrote, alongside a photo of herself, Paige, and brother.

"If you were a friend of Paige she would love you with all she's got and she would be there in an instant if you ever needed her."

The grieving mum continued to say her daughter always "lived life to the fullest" and her "drive to succeed was inspirational."

"She had big dreams and Paige always made things happen," she wrote.

"Paige has been my rock recently, I can barely breath right now and I don't know how to carry on. My house is quiet and all I want is to talk to her one last time.

"Time is so precious and we never know when our time is up. Love each other and tell each other. We will always be the 3 musketeers."

A GoFundMe for Ms Rice’s family describes the crash as a "tragic accident."

“Anyone who had the pleasure of having her in their life can understand how tragic this,” the GoFundMe page reads.

“She was such an amazing woman with such a clean heart who had so much love to give. Anyone she met she had a huge impact on and a smile that would light up any room.”

Tributes have flooded Claire's Instagram post about the 22-year-old, with thousands mourning her death.

"Absolutely heartbroken, Paige had the beautiful soul, will never be forgotten. Sending so much love you to all," one user commented.

"I can’t even put into words the pain I feel for you," added another.

Crash is under investigation

"Our thoughts go out to the family of the woman who died and those who were injured in this collision," Matrix Inspector Mark Worrell from Merseyside Police said after the crash, the Birmingham Mail reports.

“The incident is currently under investigation and I would ask anyone who saw anything prior to the collision which could assist our enquiries to get in touch.

“It is believed that prior to entering the tunnel the Audi had been in collision with another vehicle on the Hunter Street roundabout. We are currently examining a number of lines of enquiry.”
