A pair of influencers have been savaged online after they shared a video of their "disrespectful" bikini stunt at the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Brazilian models Gabriela Versiani and 27-year-old Gabily were filmed outside the world-famous monument wearing suit jackets before revealing skimpy bikinis they were wearing underneath to promote their bikini line.
After the scantily-clad models revealed their bikinis and posed in front of the Eiffel Tower for photos and videos, police approached them and asked them to cover up as stunned tourists and families watched on.
According to media reports, a woman who was with the influencers claimed they almost got arrested during the X-rated stunt.
The woman added they were told by law enforcement it was against the law to pose semi-nude at tourist destinations.
Some followers took to social media to slam the models for the stunt, with many saying it was "disrespectful".
"The girls leave Brazil to embarrass us in France lol dear lord," one said.
"All very beautiful and gorgeous. But common sense they don't have. That was totally disrespectful," another added.
"All senseless, no respect for the culture of another country!" a third added.
"I don't understand why you don't go to the Caribbean or swimming pool since you want to promote your brand. Now in Paris and worse in the Tower. Your content is totally clueless," another frustrated follower said, while another commented: "I don't know how you're not ashamed?"
Brazilan TV personality Luane Dias posted a video on Instagram of the moment the bikini-clad influencers were approached by police, captioning the post: "I'm glad I'm not with them."
Some fans however praised the influencers for the bikini stunt.
"If I had this bikini, this body ... I would also do it," one said in support of the influencers.
"Perfect," another simply commented.
