Two Queensland men are facing drug trafficking charges after police found $1.6 million worth of cannabis and two industrial hydroponic grow houses.
Minh Van Nguyen, 33, and Hung Viet Do, 29, have been charged with 29 drug-related offences, including possessing and producing dangerous drugs, after officers raided four Brisbane properties on Thursday.
Hundreds of cannabis plants, cash, vehicles and dried cannabis were seized, along with the hydroponic growing systems, police allege.
Nguyen was granted bail in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday to reappear on January 11.
Do was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court with a Vietnamese interpreter on November 23.
