'Like Lethal Weapon': Incredible twist after driver plummets 20 metres off highway
There’s been a miraculous twist after a driver plummeted more than 20 metres in a ute from a motorway.
Video obtained by Fox 6 Now shows the car travelling along an overpass in Milwaukee in the US state of Wisconsin on February 7.
The smouldering car flips and tumbles off the overpass and onto the road below.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said two bystanders rushed to the driver’s aid.
Somehow, the driver survived the crash. The ute landed upright.
“The driver was conscious and breathing and did not show signs of impairment,” police said.
“A preliminary investigation indicated the driver was driving on the ramp from the East to the South in the Zoo Interchange when he lost control of the vehicle.”
He was hospitalised but it’s not clear what his current condition is.

Absolutely wild/terrifying/incredible video of a truck hitting a snowbank and falling 70 feet onto I-94 in the Zoo Interchange. Amazingly, the truck landed right-side-up and the driver was found conscious and breathing. At last check, he was receiving treatment at the hospital. pic.twitter.com/23QOm1jiCJ
