The Puppy Bowl isn't the only place for canine athletes.

PEOPLE has a sneak peek of the new show Stupid Pet Tricks, which is a reimagining of the famous David Letterman segment. In the half-hour variety show hosted by Sarah Silverman, animals and their humans show off the silly, wild, and weird things they can do.

PEOPLE's preview of the series stars a talented dog known for their towering jumps. In the clip, the black and white pooch prepares to leap over a pole set 7 feet in the air.

Before the canine takes the leap, Silverman asks the dog's owner, "What's the highest a dog has jumped?"

The dog's dad replies, "This is the highest I've ever seen," pointing to the pole.

According to Guinness World Records, the highest unassisted jump by a dog is 75.5 inches or about 3 inches over 6 feet.

Silverman's canine guest on Stupid Pet Tricks uses a stand as a boost to leap over the pole, but the final result is still impressive and appears to be a "record" for the pup.

In the video, the dog effortlessly soars over the pole and lands in their owner's arm to a roar of cheers and applause.

"That was so good!" Silverman tells the excited pup before showing the pet's feat in slow motion.

"I don't know if that was a stupid trick or just totally incredible," Silverman adds.

The comedian will be joined on the show by animals and celebrities. Jon Hamm, Will Ferrell, Judd Apatow, Howie Mandel, Jack McBrayer, and Letterman himself are all slated to appear on Stupid Pet Tricks.
