Danny Jones stuns I'm A Celebrity fans with McFly communal shower revelation
The star's comments were a surprise in camp too

McFly's Danny Jones has stunned I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! viewers by revealing that he and his bandmates like a communal shower.
The singer spilled the beans during a rainy morning in camp as the contestants had a discussion about the jungle shower. Someone made a comment about bathing together and Jones then piped up to say that McFly happily washed together, leaving fellow camper Dean McCullough with his jaw dropping.
The revelation stunned fans of the ITV show, who posted messages on X asking: "Did he just say communal showers?"
What, how and why?
The campers had been talking about how it was too wet and too cold to brave the shower until the sun came out, when Jones said he and his band — which includes Tom Fletcher, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter — enjoyed a post-show wash together.
"We have a communal little shower or bath after a gig, love it," he revealed.
"Sorry, what?" asked McCullough, looking shocked. "You and the boys have a communal shower after every gig?" He asked.
Jones then explained that he and his bandmates did so when there was the opportunity to. "Not every one but where there's an option to, we're always up for a communal shower and a communal bath," he said.
What did viewers say?
Fans were stunned by what Jones said, with some posting GIFs on X, which was formerly Twitter, showing people looking surprised. One person posted on the platform: "McFly communal shower after a gig. Sign us up."
"All of McFly shower together?" asked another viewer. Someone else commented: "I’m sorry, McFly have a communal shower after gigs?! I am gone."

"A McFly communal shower you say Danny?" asked another. Sharing a video clip of someone's jaw dropping, another fan remarked: "The British public finding out McFly take communal showers after gigs."
"Not the communal shower from Danny Jones. McFly just got Busted." quipped somebody else.
One joked: "Danny and the boys have a communal shower and bath after shows? Do they have to Mc-Dry?"
Another said: "Dean's reaction to finding out about McFly having showers together is priceless!"
