Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a pair of rappers were killed in a double shooting in Ilford.

Saydi Abu Sheikh, 23, and Zakariya Jeilani Mohamed, 32, were killed in a suspected gangland hit shortly after midnight on Tuesday, October 25.

Police said both men died from gunshot wounds during an incident at a terrace house on Henley Road.

Two men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested this week on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at a south London police station.

Two other men have already been charged with murder in connection with the incident.

Ayaani Ali Adan, 19, and Ayman Abasheikh, 18, were charged with two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, possession of a firearm and knife and possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

A third victim, aged 30, remains in serious but stable condition in hospital following the shooting, police said.

Mr Abu Sheikh was known by his rap name ‘Giddy’, while fellow victim Mr Mohamed adopted the moniker ‘Shifty’.

The families of all three men continue to be supported by specialist officers.
