IKEA's having a massive 40 per cent off sale

Get your shopping shoes on because IKEA Australia is having a massive clearance sale that’s set to slash prices by at least 40 per cent.

The Swedish homewares giant has announced that the sale will run across four days, Thursday to Sunday, with reductions on 400 items in stores across the country.

This will include a range of selected flat-packs, furniture, kitchen appliances and other general household items.

“Join us for the IKEA Clearance sale as we send off some of our favourite products with a bang. Head in store to see the last of our best sellers at an incredible price,” sales manager Mark Mitchinson said while justifying the reason is so that stores can make room for new products.

The epic clearance prices are available in stores only, however, as products vary for different locations it’s best to visit the website to see a preview of what’s on offer at your local store.

Among the deals is a wardrobe for $99 (retailed at $279) from North Lakes or Richmond stores, an oven $179 (was $299) from Tempe and an oak veneer double bed for $148 (was $597) available from Canberra.

You can also find this glass door cabinet for $199 (was $169) and a TV storage unit for $99 down from $299 at Rhodes and Richmond.

Other bargain buys include a $49 floor lamp, a $99 armchair, a $24.99 shelf and a kitchen trolley for half price at just $149.

However, you will want to get in quick as the popular retailer, has stated the sale is only ‘while stocks last’.

Meanwhile, Amazon has announced that they are launching a new range of Pantry Food and Drinks for the Australian market.

You will now be able to access thousands of grocery items from over 400 local and international brands including Arnott’s, Milo, uncle Tobys, Masterfoods, T2, Carman’s, Sanitarium, Oreo, Powerade and M&Ms.

After a simple online purchase, these items will be delivered straight to your door as part of the initiative to support better food choices and healthy living.
