Husband hacks off alleged rapist’s penis after seeing him assault wife

A man has hacked off the penis of a man who was allegedly raping his wife.

The husband, 27, from Kharkiv, in northeast Ukraine, had been having dinner with his wife and some of their friends earlier in the evening but she had left the restaurant earlier than him.

As the husband –– whose name has not been released –– approached the apartment building where the couple lived, he reportedly heard a commotion and found Dmitry Ivchenko, 25, allegedly choking and sexually assaulting the woman, The Sun reported.

After punching his wife’s accused rapist in the face, the husband took out his Swiss Army knife and cut off Ivchenko’s penis.

Neighbours heard the 25-year-old’s screams and called an ambulance.

Ivchenko was taken to hospital but it’s not known whether his penis will be restored.

The attorney for the unnamed husband who allegedly attacked Ivchenko said his client “lost the ability to control his actions” and didn’t know what he was doing when he cut off the penis of the man who was allegedly raping his wife.
