Husband charged after woman found with fatal stab wounds near Sydney hospital

A 60-year-old man has been charged with fatally stabbing his wife after she died shortly after finishing her shift at a hospital in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The 47-year-old woman, Gihan Kerollos, died shortly after she was found unresponsive with stab wounds on Barker Street in Randwick, near the Prince of Wales Hospital, at about 8.45pm on Saturday, police said.

Mourad Kerollos, her husband from Panania, was arrested nearby and charged with murder on Sunday following what police described as a "domestic" related dispute.
