Police are searching for three males after a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in Leeds.

West Yorkshire Police have released CCTV images of the suspects following the attack in Harehills in the early hours of Wednesday.

The assault took place in a ginnel off Chatsworth Road, near its junction with Sandhurst Avenue.

Detectives say the three men were operating as a group in the area at the time and are urging the public to help identify them.

“While it is appreciated that the images of the three suspects are low quality, it is hoped someone may recognise the males as a group who were in the area around the time,” West Yorkshire constabulary said.

“Officers from Leeds District Safeguarding Unit are continuing to support the victim and carry out enquiries into the incident.”
