Hunt for Victorian man, 30, missing in remote NT area

There are concerns for a young Victorian man missing in a national park in the Northern Territory.

Melbourne man Daymon Ness, 30, travelled from Darwin to Katherine by hire car on Monday.

It’s believed Mr Ness was travelling alone.

“Mr Ness arrived at the Nitmiluk National Park sometime after 1pm on Tuesday,” police said.

“Police believe Mr Ness went for a walk on one of the Nitmiluk trails however he did not return.”

Authorities are still trying to find Mr Ness.

He is described as Caucasian, thin build, 185–190cm tall, dark brown hair, hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a black top, green/grey pants and red shoes.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen Mr Ness or knows of his whereabouts to contact them on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
