Human remains recovered from ocean near Placentia Bay

Human remains were pulled from the ocean outside of Placentia Bay on Saturday, the RCMP said in a news release.
The remains were found on Saturday morning by a commercial vessel working in the area, police say.
The remains were recovered, brought to the Port of Argentia and turned over to the police, the release said.
Police say the deceased hasn't been identified, the investigation is ongoing and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been engaged.
