Human remains found in SA national park

Human remains have been discovered in a conservation park north of Adelaide.

Police are investigating the remains found by a member of the public who called them to the Hale Conservation Park at 1.15pm on Tuesday.

The cause of death is under investigation and police are expected to stay at the scene overnight.

Hale Conservation Park is a protected area known for its steep and rocky ridges, located 60 kilometres northeast of Adelaide's CBD.
