A woman was caught on camera punching and choking a McDonald’s manager in a row over ketchup.
Security footage shows the woman attacking the fast food store manager after she was told she could not be in the employee-only area.
According to the police, the suspect entered the back door of a McDonald’s restaurant, in Santa Anna, California, around 11pm on October 27 and asked a worker for ketchup.
When the store manager told the woman she could not be in the employee area, the woman kicked, punched and choked the manager, according to police.
Footage shows the woman, dressed in a light pink shirt and dark gray tracksuit pants, slamming the manager against a drinks machine.
The suspect continues to assault the manager while a drive thru customer waits at the window and other employees rush to the manager’s aid.
A man, who police believe was with the suspect, can then be seen running into the restaurant and pulling the woman off the manager, before the pair leave the restaurant together.
Police have shared the footage in their hunt for the woman, described as being Hispanic with brown hair and aged about 20 to 25.
One person who viewed the footage on YouTube commended the manager’s multitasking ability as she is seen tending to the drive thru customer amid the commotion.
“That is a great worker, mid fight she gave the driver her change! Promote her,” he wrote.
