A neighbourhood dispute has ended with a man suffering a stab wound and a punctured lung in Melbourne.

The incident happened in Melbourne’s western suburbs on Saturday night.

Three men were taken to hospital, and two men have been charged.

Channel 9 reports the incident was sparked by concerns over vehicles hooning along the street.

They received bail and are expected in the Werribee Magistrates’ Court in March.

“Investigations remain ongoing to identify others involved in the incident,” police say in the statement.

Authorities want anyone with information or footage to come forward.
