Hollyoaks’ Ste Hay made a devastating confession in the aftermath of his shocking fall.

In the most recent developments, Warren Fox discovered that Ste was responsible for the death of his daughter Ella Richardson, with tensions coming to a head at a multi-storey car park.

The confrontation eventually ended with Warren pushing Ste from the edge in front of James Nightingale, with tonight’s (March 18) first-look episode beginning as Ste laid motionless on the ground.

As James tended to his husband, Warren informed the solicitor that he didn’t consider them even in the slightest before threatening him to keep his mouth shut.

Ste was eventually transported to hospital as James came under fire from the police, with the detective noting that he had remarked that Ste had been pushed in his emergency call.

As James concluded his interview with the detective, Warren arrived at the hospital to continue his campaign of intimidation, reminding James that he hadn’t forgotten his strike with the baseball bat.

Ste eventually woke up as the doctor told James that he had suffered several fractures and injuries to his ribs, but she assured him that Ste would make a full recovery as he avoided internal bruising.

Ste and James eventually got a moment of privacy, with the latter concocting a plan to leave the country as soon as Ste had recovered from his injuries.

Ste, however, had other ideas, as he called the detective and Cindy Cunningham to confess his crimes, with the latter looking stunned as Ste finally told the truth.

How will Warren and James react to this latest development, and just what punishment will Ste face?
