Hollyoaks airs shock fall for Ste Hay in revenge storyline

Hollyoaks spoilers follow from Friday's episode on Channel 4 streaming, which doesn't air on E4 until Monday.

Tonight's (March 15) Hollyoaks streaming episode aired a shock fall for Ste Hay amid the character's ongoing revenge storyline.

After fatally knocking Ella Richardson over with his car, Ste has been wracked with guilt. Although his husband James Nightingale pinned the blame on drug dealer Kane, Ella's dad Warren Fox recently uncovered Ste's secret – and desperately wants answers.

Tonight's episode saw Ste become worried for his family's safety, with Leah and Lucas reluctantly agreeing to flee the village with their dad. Meanwhile, Warren continued to question James while his men searched for Ste.

Ste was then forced to come out of hiding when Warren called Ste from James' phone and threatened Ste's children. Ste arrived at the pub to help his husband, with Warren and Murphy waiting for him.

"I'm so sorry," Ste said, to which Warren replied: "Not as sorry as I was having to bury my little girl. Now I wanna know which one of you two murdered my daughter?"

James and Ste managed to escape, but were not free for long, with Warren chasing them down to the top of a multi-storey carpark. Before Warren could punish James for Ella's death, Ste jumped in and admitted he was the one who killed her, though Warren was skeptical on who to believe.

"You've seen me grieve, you carried my daughter's coffin at her funeral. You stood there and you looked me in the eye, so why should I believe you now?" asked Warren.

"The boots, she was wearing red boots," said Ste, as he tried to make Warren believe him. "How do I know one's missing? I only know that because I found it wedged under the wheel of the car. And I hid it cause I panicked."

Ste continued: "Since she has died, it's like part of me has as well. I can't live with it any more," with Warren replying: "That's one thing we agree on."

James and Ste once again tried to make a run for it. James stopped mid stairway to see where his husband had got to, only to look out the window and see Ste falling past.

Will Ste be okay?
