Hollyoaks airs gunshot cliffhanger in Warren and Felix story

Hollyoaks spoilers follow for the Thursday (February 1) episode on Channel 4 streaming, which will air tomorrow on E4.

Hollyoaks has hinted at lives hanging in the balance after a gunshot was fired in a row between Felix Westwood and Warren Fox.

In tonight's streaming episode, Warren was still seeking revenge for his daughter Ella's death. Deeming Felix responsible, the mechanic had led him to the woods pretending they'd go on a fishing trip.

Meanwhile, Norma Crow distracted Mercedes McQueen — who's carrying Felix and Warren's twins — taking her out for the day. As Mercedes seemed happy to be pampered, Norma sent Warren an ominous text to let her know when he'd be done with Felix.

In the forest, Felix grew suspicious of Warren. Fearing his pal might want to take his grief out on him, Felix had preventively drugged his beer, demanding the truth.

"What's the real reason we're here today?" Felix asked Warren. "Were you gonna kill me?"

Warren insisted that their trip was "legit", but Felix urged Warren to talk about Ella's death to process his loss.

"I'm not the reason that Ella died and that Joel is in a hospital bed," Warren blurted out. "You are."

"I need you to admit that Ella dying was an accident," Felix replied, urging Warren to let his anger go before it'd turn into hate.

Warren then tried to reach for his gun, but Felix revealed he'd taken the weapon as a precaution.

Meanwhile, Mercedes realised why Warren had taken Felix to the woods, pleading with Norma to stop her son. In despair, Mercedes left a voice note to Felix, warning him he was walking into a trap.

Away from the village, Warren blamed Felix for Ella's death (unaware it was actually Ste Hay who is responsible), demanding his gun back.

A hurt Felix told Warren he was looking forward to having their twins grow back as part of a big, loving family, but didn't intend to live in fear of Warren.

"So go on, shoot me," Warren said, threatening to kill Felix should he get ahold of his own firearm.

"You'll never change, will you, Warren?" Felix replied, stating there was only one way for their feud to end.

"I love you, brother," Felix said as he pulled a gun on Warren, who tackled him. As a gunshot was fired, will both of them survive?

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4 each weekday at 7.30pm. Episodes then air on E4 the following day, before getting their YouTube premiere a week after that.
