Woman slams neighbour who left 'feral' note about barking rescue dog

A woman who is trying to rehabilitate a rescue dog has received an anonymous note filled with profanity, demanding she “keep her dog quiet”.

Samantha Evans posted the note in her local WA community Facebook group, explaining that she wasn’t aware the new addition to the family was barking and may have been able to resolve it if approached about the issue.

But instead she was delivered a savage note.

“Hey mate, can you keep your f***ing dog quiet c***,” it said.

Ms Evans posted the image and stated that the dog was a recent rescue and the family had only heard it bark once.

“I’m home most the time too and he’s been such a good boy ... he literally hasn’t barked yet,” she said.

She suggested the author of the note would have been better off “knocking on her door” and to stop “hiding behind a piece of paper”.

Members of the Facebook group have responded in force, appalled at the language used, and most people agree it could have been better handled in person.

“Better to knock and have a civil conversation rather than a nasty feral note like that,” one person wrote.

“This isn't right ... talking not accusing should be the first point of call,” another added.

“They need to grow up, dogs are gonna bark I don’t understand why people write pathetic notes wen (sic) all you can do is talk to the owner,” a person commented.

Ms Evans will be getting to the bottom of the matter soon and one suggested she install cameras to catch the nasty author note writer.

“We have several, just a matter of going through [the footage],” she replied.

It comes just days after a sinister note was left in a family’s letterbox in Queensland.

A woman believes her dog was poisoned by a disgruntled neighbour who left a note saying it was the “last warning” to keep her animal quiet.
