Here's How Democratic US Governors Are Preparing For Another Trump Presidency

Governors across the United States are already taking action to prepare for another Donald Trump presidency, which will have America's first convicted felon at the helm. From California to Illinois, here's how governors are reacting:

1. Gov. of Massachusetts Maura Healey — After Trump's projected victory, Gov. Healey was asked on MSNBC whether state police would help with mass deportations if requested by the Trump administration, to which she responded, "No, absolulely not." She continued, "I will work closely with my colleagues [...] to hold the line once again on the rule of law, on democracy, and for looking out for residents in our states — and that includes protecting rights and freedoms that we hold dear."
