Hello Fresh customer rages over 'contaminated' food delivery
A customer has hit out at Hello Fresh after finding an opened package of raw chicken had leaked all over his delivery.
The man, who appears to be from the US and uses the name Norman on Twitter, took to social media to complain that his week’s worth of meals are now “contaminated”.
“Yo, I hate complaining about things on Twitter, but ugh Hello Fresh?” he wrote.
“My package arrived today with the chicken sliced open and leaking juices over ALL of my meals, contaminating everything.
“Customer service said you don’t send replacements? Wtf is this.”
The customer also attached photos of the opened chicken package with the raw meat spilling out.

Hello Fresh 'sorry' about man's poor experience
A Hello Fresh US spokesperson responded to the man’s complaint, saying they “are sorry to hear this.”
The spokesperson asked for Norman’s email address so they could look into the delivery, to which he agreed.
“Your customer service rep also made me dig in the garbage to read some serial number off of the slimy chicken packaging, because it was necessary apparently. Overall a very unpleasant customer service experience,” he added.
Responding to a Twitter follower, Norman said he liked the convenience of Hello Fresh but that “this whole experience” had turned him off it.
“I was just really looking forward to my shepherd’s pie this week,” he said.
