Heavy rain has fallen across Sussex causing flooding and disruption to some travel services.

A Met Office yellow weather alert and flood warnings are in place, including at Hellingly and Horsebridge on the Cuckmere and Bull Rivers, at Cowfold on the Adur and at Barcombe Mills on the Ouse.

Some Southeastern and Southern services have also been affected.

Flooding has been reported in Littlehampton, Barcombe and Isfield amongst other places.

No trains will run in this area until further notice as a result.

The Met Office warned buses and trains could see delays while road conditions could be impacted by around 15-20 mm of rain on Sunday.

The latest weather warning replaces a yellow one for snow and ice which was in force earlier in the weekend.

Conditions are expected to improve later on Sunday although a yellow weather warning is in place until 09:00 GMT on Monday, the weather service said.
