Heather Rae El Moussa Asks Fans to 'Please Pray' for Her Hometown That Wildfire Is 'Surrounding'
The HGTV star shared an update on how the Line Fire is impacting her hometown of Running Springs, Calif. on Tuesday, Sept. 10
Heather Rae El Moussa is looking to her fans for support as the Line Fire approaches her hometown in California.
The Selling Sunset alum, 36, explained how the fast-spreading wildfire has already impacted her hometown of Running Springs, Calif., and her parents who still live there, in a message shared to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Sept. 10.
“Please pray for my little hometown of Running Springs. The fire is surrounding,” she wrote of the San Bernardino County location. “My heart is so sad.”

El Moussa shared another update earlier this week that said her parents had to evacuate the area twice as the fire was 0% contained, according to a screenshot of her post shared by Newsweek.
"The fire is 0% contained," she wrote on her Instagram Stories. "My parents were evacuated a second time from where they were staying. It's a mess up in my little town and the fire is spreading like crazy. Praying for everyone's safety & all the animals."
While the HGTV star lives in Newport Beach now with her husband Tarek and their kids, her parents are still residents of the mountain town where she grew up.

The Line Fire, which has burned at least 34,600 acres already, is one of the three massive wildfires currently spreading throughout California, CBS News reports. Running Springs is among the many San Bernardino County communities that have been ordered to evacuate.
As of Wednesday, Sept. 11, the blaze was 14% contained but still threatens to scorch 65,500 structures. The outlet reports that a 34-year-old Southern California man has been arrested for allegedly sparking the Line Fire.

In addition to the devastating fires in Southern California, residents of Nevada are being impacted by the destructive Davis Fire.
Hawkeye star Jeremy Renner showed the severity of the Nevada wildfire through a series of posts shared to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, Sept. 8. As the actor evacuated his home near Reno, Nev., he revealed distressing scenes of the blaze as it scorched trees near his property and sent thick clouds of smoke billowing over the mountains.
