Health Minister Greg Hunt calls for investigation after his Twitter account ‘likes’ pornography post

Health Minister Greg Hunt has called for an investigation after his official Twitter account "liked" a pornography post.

Earlier on Sunday Mr Hunt's account "liked" the tweet from user BBW CUM PLUMBER 69 with the Liberal MP not yet making comment on the incident.

While the tweet has since been deleted, other social media users were quick to notice the interaction, sharing it around the internet.

Mr Hunt has since said his account was hacked when it "liked" the offending tweet at about 5am Sunday morning, calling for an Australian Federal Police investigation.

The incident follows a similar one involving Defence Industry Minister Christopher Pyne who last month "liked" a tweet linking to a video showing gay porn.

Mr Pyne, a backer of marriage equality, responded to the incident by claiming his Twitter had been hacked by someone “making mischief of the plebiscite” at the time.

“Someone tried to hack my social media yesterday. Maybe they are making mischief over the plebiscite," Mr Pyne said.

Twitter users were unconvinced of Mr Pyne's claim, with many responding he "should take responsibility for your actions".
