If an ornament was a dress.
If you're looking for New Year's Eve outfit inspiration, look no further than Halle Berry's most recent red carpet gown. The actress arrived at the closing ceremony of the third-annual Red Sea International Film Festival in a festive naked gown with intricate gold detailing.
On Thursday, the Oscar-winning actress was photographed wearing an Elie Saab gown (from the designer's Autumn Winter 2023-24 haute couture collection) that featured a full skirt, ornate shimmery gold and silver floral and paisley embroidery, a structured high-neck collar, dramatic pointed shoulders, and flared bell sleeves. The pattern of the beaded swirls left a keyhole cutout in the middle of her chest before coming together in the midsection.
Given the dress's stunning design, Berry kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing only a pair of dainty gold earrings that climbed up her lobes. Her caramel-highlighted lob was swept into a low bun, save for her forehead fringe which framed the face. She kept her glam simple as well, opting for a dewy complexion, feathered lashes, and a subtle brown glossy lip.
After striking a few poses by herself, she was joined by her longtime boyfriend Van Hunt, who looked dapper in an all-black tuxedo styled with a vest, matching button-down, and collar pin.
Earlier in the week, Berry attended a panel at the festival wearing another gold look. She layered the silk Alberta Ferretti power suit over teal lace lingerie and finished off the look with layered necklaces, a statement ring, and black platform heels.
