We can’t get enough of the mob wife aesthetic at the moment. Give us all the leopard print, faux fur, black leather and gold accessories! And if you weren’t already on board with the look, Hailey Bieber will convince you thanks to her latest pic, which sees her wrapped up in a (faux, we assume!) fur coat.

The opposite of quiet luxury and the clean girl aesthetic, the mob wife trend, which takes inspiration from famous women in pop culture such as Drea de Matteo and Edie Falco in The Sopranos and Lorraine Bracco in Goodfellas, is all about flashy glamour and maximalism. And Hailey has nailed it to a tee.

The rhode founder and model took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday evening to share a mirror selfie of herself in what we hope and are sure is a faux fur coat. She paired the statement coat with some silver metallic sunglasses, while adding a pop of colour thanks to her tangerine-orange designer handbag. And of course, what else would she have on her lips other than her rhode Peptide Lip Tint in a nude hue.

Her hair is also perfectly tousled, with a dazzling ring adding even more luxury to the look. But you don't need to go all out to try the trending style yourself. We have a feeling you'll probably have some leopard print or a furry coat in your wardrobe already. But the mob wife aesthetic is all about confidence. Just think of those iconic TV and movie characters for inspiration.

And if we’ve not already convinced you that this is one of the easiest trends to embrace this winter, celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Rita Ora, Suki Waterhouse and Ashley Benson have all rocked the mob wife look in recent months.

Given that we’re always looking for a chic and cosy way to wrap up in the cold, we have a feeling we’ll be embracing all things mob wife until the warmer weather starts to make an appearance.
