Guernsey non-profit group looking to expand board of trustees

Non-profit organisation Edible Guernsey has announced it is looking for people to join its board of trustees.

The group campaigns for every person in Guernsey to have access to local, fresh, and sustainably grown food.

Several "key positions" are available within the organisation, including secretary/director and trustee at large.

Edible Guernsey said its aim was to "transform the local food landscape".

It said: "We aspire to be an incubator, to seed the growth of new commercial ventures and expand the diversity and amount of fresh, local and sustainable food produced in Guernsey.

"Ideal candidates will have a passion for community service, sustainable agriculture, and local food systems.

"They should be ready to drive the organization forward, implementing innovative solutions to meet the needs of our community."

Applications close on Tuesday.
