A man has died in a what police believe to be a motorcycle crash along a bushland track on NSW’s north coast.

Emergency services were called to Nogra Trail at Emerald Beach on Sunday about 5.35pm, following reports a body had been located.

The 61-year-old was found deceased at the scene.

NSW Police say initial inquiries suggests the man had been riding a motorbike and had crashed.

The bushland trail is located near the Orara East State Forest and is popular with motorbike riders and walkers.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner and police will continue investigations on the circumstances surrounding the crash.
