Girl pulls siblings from car wreckage as mother was trapped inside
A seven-year-old girl has been hailed a hero for bravely pulling her two younger siblings from the wreckage of their car after it rolled in regional Queensland.
The crash happened around 7.45am on Tuesday morning west of Kilcoy with the children's mother trapped inside the vehicle.
LifeFlight Critical Care Doctor Matthew Mulkeen told NewsCorp the girl bravely escaped from the car, which was left on its roof, before making the decision to return and help her two and three-year-old siblings.
By the time emergency crews arrived, all three children were out of the vehicle.
The seven-year-old managed to unbuckle her younger siblings and help them out.
The children were uninjured in the crash while their 28-year-old mother was airlifted to Nambour Hospital with suspected chest and arm injuries after being cut from the wreckage.
It is unclear what caused the crash with the car sliding off the wet road.
