Kader K., whose age and full surname were not disclosed, reportedly went to wake up her daughter Aysenur K. in the morning, but she realised that the young girl was lying motionless on her bed.

In his statement at the police station, the uncle reportedly said that the girl had been making lots of noise during the night, and he allegedly kicked her to shut her up.

Both the mother and the uncle were taken to court after being questioned, and they were formally arrested.

The police then opened an immediate investigation into the alleged crime.

Investigators were subsequently stunned to find that the girl was registered as the daughter of Erdogan Kazik, who was actually her grandfather.

DNA samples were then taken from Erdogan Kazik and Kader K.’s partner Erdi Karadeniz.

The investigation is ongoing.
