An 11-year-old girl has been found safe and well after her parents reported her missing in Sydney's south.

Jacinta Laverance, a keen runner, was reportedly last seen at her family home in Sylvania Heights on Sunday night wearing her purple and aqua pyjamas.

Police say her parents woke on Monday morning to find her missing, sparking a large-scale police hunt.

She was found just before 1pm in a park near her home, police said.
