Giovanni Pernice taunts Celebrity Hunters with pizza delivery
"I can't get over the cheek of these two, it's just beyond me."
What did you miss?
Celebrity Hunted contestant Giovanni Pernice showed serious cojones on Sunday, 19 January's episode, as he hand-delivered a pizza to Hunter HQ in London.
Buddying up with his former Strictly Come Dancing co-star Kai Widdrington for Channel 4's Stand Up to Cancer series, the Italian dancer came up with the risky plan as a way to taunt Ray 'The Chief' Howard and his crack team of trackers.
He rather ingeniously labelled it "The Italian Job".
What, how and why?
"They're probably gonna look at us and go, 'What a pair of jokers,' but then they'll quickly realise that they're up against two of the most competitive people in the world," said Widdrington to the camera.
Pernice, who is no longer part of the Strictly professional team, then arranged for the pair to meet up with two of his associates — one of whom's godfather owns an Italian restaurant.
"So what are we gonna do... we're going to attempt the biggest escape ever in Celebrity Hunted. We're gonna deliver a pizza to the office," he revealed, whilst pretending to soak the margarita pizza in chilli oil.

The dancer's adrenalised stunt wasn't without its choppy moments, but Pernice made a clean getaway after leaving two pizza boxes in the Hunter HQ reception area.
He and Widdrington even left a signed T-shirt and a note inside, which read: "A little present for you to wear to bed tonight so that you can not only dream of us, but wear us as well. Ciao for now, Gio and Kai. Happy hunting!"
One of the hunters raged: "I can't get over the cheek of these two, it's just beyond me."
What else have Pernice and Widdrington been up to?
Earlier in the series, Pernice joked that it was only because of Anton Du Beke's busy schedule that Widdrington was able to appear on Celebrity Hunted with him.
Pernice and Du Beke previously branched away from Strictly together, making travel docuseries across Sicily and Spain, which are currently available to stream via BBC iPlayer.
Celebrity Hunted airs on Channel 4 and 4OD.
