Gigolos star Ash Armand charged with murder after woman's death

Ash Armand, best known for his stint of reality TV series Gigolos, has been charged with the murder for allegedly beating a woman to death.

At 10.23am (local time) on Thursday, police officers were called to Blackstone Ridge Court after reports of an unresponsive female, according to a press release from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Police said upon arrival it was determined the female was deceased and “showed signs of trauma”.

Akshaya Kubiak, the 38-year-old who goes by Ash Armand, was detained and detectives were called.

“Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that the victim and Kubiak were friends,” police said in a statement.

“Detectives believe that Kubiak was under the influence of narcotics and beat the victim to death.

“Kubiak was arrested for one count of Open Murder and was transported to the Clark County Detention Centre.”

The cause of death is yet to be identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office and the female victim has not been identified.

According to TMZ, police said the victim was in her early 30s and it was Kubiak who called the police on Thursday morning.

Kubiak appeared on season three of the reality series Gigolos, which ran for six seasons and wrapped up in 2016.

The show documented the lives of male escorts in Las Vegas.
