Gas blast kills three in Russian building

A gas explosion in a nine-storey prefabricated building northwest of the Russian capital Moscow has killed three people, including a three-year-old child.

A 12-year-old was rescued from the rubble, the authorities said on Friday.

In total, at least four people were injured.

Videos showed how parts of the facade were torn away by the force of the explosion.

Gas explosions occur frequently in Russia and are often deadly.
