Four men are being treated for mild hypothermia after being rescued from their sinking boat off the Gold Coast.
Emergency services scrambled into action when the group sent out a distress call about 1.40pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Their 7.6m powerboat was sinking about 18 nautical miles northeast of the Gold Coast Seaway.
Following a search of the area, a police helicopter found the four men and dropped a life raft for them.
Water police then picked up the group in a boat and ferried them back to shore.
"Terrific response from all agencies involved," the Queensland Ambulance Service tweeted shortly after the successful rescue.
The cause of the sinking is not yet known.
