Four rescued after boat sinks in waters off WA

Four men have been rescued off waters off Western Australia after their boat sank.

Emergency crews were called to reports a boat was taking on water and sinking about 300 metres off Garden Island just after 7am on Sunday.

Water Police arrived on scene about 15 minutes later and found the boat had sunk, with only its bow visible above the water line, and its four occupants in the ocean.

Crews were able to rescue the men, who spent about 30 minutes in the water, without incident before the sunken boat was towed back to shore.
