Four-year-old girl dies after being hit by minibus
A four-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a minibus.
The crash happened at between 08:15 and 08:30 BST at the junction of Goldsmid Road and Russell Street in Reading on Monday.
Thames Valley Police said a red Ford Transit minibus had collided with a pedestrian who sustained serious injuries and later died in hospital.
The driver of the minibus remained on the scene at the incident, and police said no one had been arrested.
The girl’s next of kin had been informed, and were being supported by specially trained officers, the force said
It has also appealed for any witnesses or those with dash cam footage of the incident to come forward and assist the investigation.
