Four appear at court over fatal stabbing of teen

Four people charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old man have appeared in court.

Three are charged with the murder of Kalvin Taylor, whose body was found in the ground-floor flat on Lefroy Road in Mile Cross, Norwich, on 21 September.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Taylor died from a single stab wound to the chest, and police believe his body laid in the flat for eight days.

All four defendants appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court and are due to appear again at Norwich Crown Court on Wednesday.

Leon Bangura, 22, of Old Kent Road, London, is charged with murder and threatening another person with an offensive weapon.

He is also charged with possession of a bladed article, being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and possession with intent to supply.

Adam Dugdale, 55, of Shorncliffe Avenue, Norwich, and Carrie-Anne Hall, 51, of Lodge Breck, Drayton, near Norwich, are charged with murder.

Matthew Holmes, 51, of Bowthorpe Road, Norwich, is charged with assisting an offender.

All four spoke only to confirm their names, addresses and dates of birth.

Mr Bangura, Mr Dugdale and Ms Hall have been remanded in custody.

Mr Holmes was released on bail.
