The star played Kate Ramsay and Chelsea Campbell on the respective Australian soaps, with her role on Neighbours coming to an end in 2014.
Brewer now has some excellent news in her personal life, with the star taking to Instagram to confirm her engagement to Bauch, writing: “The greatest human I’ve ever met wants to marry me!! 💍🥳✨We’re engaged!!! I love you beyond measure @mark_bauch ❤️”
The post also included a photo of the happy couple, with Annika Noelle and Rena Sofer, Brewer’s co-stars from The Bold and the Beautiful, both sending their messages of congratulations.
Whilst Brewer’s time on Neighbours may have ended a decade ago, the Australian soap is now in a new era following its acquisition by Amazon Freevee. The reboot saw time shift forward a couple of years following the “finale”, with several new storylines beginning.
“It was great the way they did it, because it was a surprise for us as well,” said Gordon. “I always hoped that Elly and Chloe would get married. I was coming back in the hope of that happening - it was really exciting to find out that this would happen.”

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach.
