The NSW Food Authority advised Regal Cream Products Pty Ltd, trading as Bulla Dairy Foods, is conducting a recall of the popular dessert “due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (soy)”.

The 1.5 litre cake, with a best before date of 24/03/2021, has been declared a “food safety hazard” the food authority advised.

“This is a food safety issue and anyone concerned about their health should seek medical advice. Any consumers who have a soy allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.”
